Membership Categories & Dues
Membership dues are differentiated according to member’s place of residence and categorized as H (High), M (Middle), or L (Low) according the World Bank list of economies, as published in 2006. For details see the Membership Description.
Dues are given in Euro (€). Full Professional (H) includes free subscription of the Journal of Quantitative Linguistics.
Payment Methods
We offer a number of online and offline payment options to suit you, all of which are completely safe: We accept cash payment (during IQLA meetings and conferences) and electronic money transfer:
- In order to reduce transfer fees, we recommend members from countries with Euro currency to make money orders to our bank account (see: Bank Transfer).
- All other members may prefer credit card payments using Paypal, or payments from Paypal accounts (see: Online Payment). Please DO NOT e-mail your credit card information in e-mail texts for safety reasons.
Online Payment

An Emeritus member must be retired, due to age or illness, from professional employment, and to have been an active member of the IQLA for at least ten years.
New and returning professional members who are unemployed at the time of registration may submit a request for approval to register at the Student rate within the corresponding residence dues category for one year (eventually to be prolonged).
